Lancashire Cricket announces partnership with drinks brand Titanic Distillers

Lancashire Cricket is delighted to announce a new partnership with Titanic Distillers, as Official Spirits Partner and Official Water Partner, signing a new five-year partnership.

The brand, which is launched by Peter Lavery and private equity firm Norlin, goes on sale on St Patrick’s Day and is based at the historical Thompson Dry Dock and Pumphouse site in Belfast, the birthplace of Ship 401, RMS Titanic.

As part of the partnership, Titanic Distillers will supply the Club with spirits for its hospitality offering, which includes whiskey, vodka, gin and Irish cream.

In addition, Titanic Distillers will supply the Club with spirits for its hospitality offering, which includes whiskey, vodka, gin and Irish cream; and will also provide a sustainable water offering, by supplying the venue with Polylactic Acid (PLA) bottles that are made from plants and are completely biodegradable and recyclable, aligning with the Club’s sustainability programme.

Daniel Gidney, Chief Executive at Lancashire Cricket said: “We’re delighted that Titanic Distillers have signed a new five-year partnership with us.

“They’re a new brand that are looking to infiltrate the UK market and the partnership provides Titanic Distillers with a unique opportunity to target a number of diverse audience types.

“This announcement comes at an exciting time for the Club, as we have just had plans for the next phase of redevelopment at Emirates Old Trafford approved. We’re looking forward to working with Titanic Distillers over the next five years.”

Richard Irwin, Director of Titanic Distillers, stated: “We are extremely excited about rolling out the Titanic Distillers range with Lancashire Cricket. Our Whiskey is the spirit of the workers who built the great ship – A story of Blood, Sweat and Years. Lancashire Cricket is a Club based on similar values, having a strong history in the local community and growing international appeal.”

As part of the partnership, Titanic will hold the naming rights of the Titanic Distillers Terrace for 2020. The brand will have a branded presence across the terrace, which will be a hospitality area for fans on a number of international and domestic match-days.
