LANCASHIRE CRICKET FOUNDATION MISSION: To engage, excite, inspire and improve individuals through cricket.
Emirates Old Trafford is not only the home of Lancashire Cricket, but also the Lancashire Cricket Foundation - the Club's official charity.
Working across the North West, the Lancashire Cricket Foundation develop and deliver a range of cricket projects, programmes and events designed to make a positive difference to the individuals and communities which we engage with, in order to grow the appeal of the game at all levels.
Emirates Old Trafford alone is a multi-purpose sporting and events venue with many different functions, however we are one Red Rose Family. Therefore, we recognise the importance of supporting the Lancashire Cricket Foundation through the conference and events segment of our venue.
Emirates Old Trafford are proud to announce that an optional £50 donation will be added to every conference and event booking, which have a total cost of £5k and above, to support the Lancashire Cricket Foundation to impact people’s lives across the local community.
Established as the official charity of Lancashire Cricket, the Lancashire Cricket Foundation works at the heart of communities across the North-West to deliver our mission of engaging, exciting, inspiring, and improving lives and communities through cricket. We believe in the power of the sport and use it to make positive differences to peoples lives.
Our highly skilled, dynamic, and passionate team deliver a range of community projects that touch the lives of a huge spectrum of people in and around Lancashire, from children and young people to senior citizens.

Key Areas of Work: What Your Donation Will Support
Get more young people active - through playing cricket, children in some of the most deprived areas of the UK are able to participate in regular physical activity, helping to tackle the challenges around childhood obesity.
Improve mental well being - by participating in regular exercise, children feel happier and more confident, helping develop self-esteem and resilience to making new friends and feeling connected to their communities.
Expand our disability cricket programme to include young people aged 5-11 - there is currently a smaller amount of younger children with disabilities who can come together to play cricket. We aim to remove this gap and enable all ages to enjoy our wonderful game and its benefits.
See an increase in women and girls playing cricket - the number of women and girls playing cricket is one of the fastest growing areas of cricket, therefore our women and girls programme is expanding year on year.
Reduce the impact of anti-social behaviour - through regular cricket delivery and personal development sessions, we aim to reduce anti-social behaviour in targeted areas. These programmes build resilience in at-risk young people who will be empowered to think and behave more positively in their lives.
Increase access to our Education without Boundaries programme - our flagship education programme aims to break down barriers to education, empower children and create a brighter future for those from highly deprived areas.
Support older members of the community - our walking cricket programme, a modified version of the traditional game, promotes regular physical activity, reducing the social isolation amongst older communities by connecting and building friendships.
