Christmas Party FAQs

Organising your Christmas party can be a daunting and stressful task, but not with Emirates Old Trafford. We have compiled a list of the most frequently asked questions and answers to help you plan a night to remember.

IS THERE A MINIMUM NUMBER FOR BOOKING?

On our shared party nights there are no restrictions to the number of people that you can bring (subject to availability of the party night). However, groups that do not fill a full table of ten may need to share their table with another group.

HOW MANY DO THE TABLES SEAT?

Our tables seat ten guests, but we do have a limited number of tables that can accommodate 12 guests that are available on request. If you are part of a larger group, your tables will all be sat next to each other. If you are part of a smaller group and/or you do not fill a full table of ten, you may have to share a table with another group, however we do endeavour to provide people with private tables where possible.

CAN WE ADD PEOPLE ON TO OUR BOOKING?

Yes, you can add people on to your party up to one week prior to the party night, providing that we still have availability. We ask that you call to speak to the Christmas Co-ordinator on 0161 282 4020 or email [email protected] first to check availability.

DO YOU HAVE CAR PARKING ON-SITE?

Yes, we have over 500 complimentary parking spaces available on-site for anyone attending our Christmas party nights. Spaces are available on a first come first serve basis and any vehicles left overnight are at the owner’s risk. Emirates Old Trafford takes no responsibility for any loss, damage, theft, or vandalism to or from any vehicles parked on our car park. Any vehicles left overnight are subject to the standard parking charges.

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

It is Christmas and a great excuse to get all glammed up and feel extra special. Ladies and gents, dress to impress! Gowns and black tie will be welcomed but are not compulsory. We do not allow trainers, sportswear, or baseball caps. Anyone arriving to the Christmas party wearing any of the non-permitted items may be refused entry by our security teams.

WHAT TIME DOES THE PARTY START?

There is a full timing schedule shown on your selected party night pages within the brochure, please refer to these for more information on your party timings.

DO YOU SEND OUT TICKETS?

No, we do not send out tickets. You will be welcomed by our Emirates Old Trafford team who will check you in and direct you to your party area.

IS THERE A CLOAKROOM?

Yes, we provide a cloakroom/ coat rail service free of charge which remains open until the end of the party night.

CAN I PRE-ORDER MY DRINKS?

We would encourage you to pre-order drinks for your group. We have created a range of fantastic drinks packages at discounted prices that are available to pre-order only. We also have an extensive wine list that you can select from if a drinks package is not for you.

All drinks that have been pre-ordered will be ready and waiting on your table when you enter the main room. A drinks pre-order link will be sent as part of your booking confirmation for you to order directly online, or please contact the Christmas Co-ordinator who will happily send this link to you. For guests who pre-order the drinks wristband, please note that any unused wristbands are non-refundable after the party. Full payment will be requested upon ordering of your drinks.

CAN I SET UP A BAR ACCOUNT ON THE NIGHT?

Unfortunately, we are unable to set up a bar account on the evening; however, we have designed a drinks wristband that includes five drinks tabs that can be exchanged at the bar for either a pint/bottle of beer, glass of 175ml house wine, single house spirit and mixer (excluding red bull) or soft drink as an alternative solution to providing your guests with a drink on you. Please note that any wristbands pre-ordered but not used at the party cannot be returned and refunded.

HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY PARTY?

We accept payment by credit/debit card or BACS. Please contact our Christmas Co-ordinator on 0161 282 4020 or email [email protected] to arrange your payment.

Any payments made by BACS must specify their Christmas party booking reference and/or lead booker name in order for us to trace your payment.

I HAVE A SPECIAL DIET/FOOD ALLERGY, DO I NEED TO TELL YOU?

Yes, if you or a member of your group have an allergy and would like advice about whether this may be affected by the food and drink being served please speak to the Christmas Co-ordinator on 0161 282 4020 or email [email protected] who will be happy to assist you.

Please note that we cannot guarantee that any food or drink is ‘100% free’ from any allergen due to the risk of un-expected cross contamination.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide Kosher meals. There will be no discounts available for Kosher guests attending who will not be having one of our own meals. We ask that all special diets and vegetarian meals are pre ordered and noted on your menu pre order form.

I REQUIRE AN INVOICE TO MAKE PAYMENT

Not a problem, simply let our Christmas Co-ordinator know at the time of booking and this will be processed by our finance team. Please note that invoices cannot be created after payment has been made or once the party has taken place. VAT receipts can be provided upon request at the time of making payment.

A MEMBER OF MY PARTY CAN NO LONGER ATTEND, CAN I GET A REFUND?

All deposits and payments made are non-refundable and non-transferable. It is advisable that you try and re-fill the place if possible. We cannot transfer any money across to wine/drinks.

ARE THERE ANY AGE LIMITS OR RESTRICTIONS?

Guests aged 16 and 17 are welcome if they are accompanied by an adult who is responsible for them. We operate a strict challenge 25 policy, for full details please click here.

CAN YOU RECOMMEND A LOCAL TAXI COMPANY?

We recommend that you pre-order your taxi home to avoid disappointment of long waiting times during busy periods. Please ask your taxi to arrive no later than 1.30am. Our local taxi company is Street Cars who can be contacted on 0161 228 7878.

DO YOU HAVE ANY ACCOMMODATION ON-SITE?

Yes! Our four-star Hilton Garden Inn is situated on-site at Emirates Old Trafford and has 250 stunning bedrooms, 135 of which have balconies and overlook the world-famous pitch. The hotel offers the ultimate stay, get ready in relaxed surroundings, and start the night by meeting your friends in the hotel bar before making your way over to the main party.
