The countdown is on: Just one week to go until The Hundred returns to Emirates Old Trafford

It's almost time: Manchester Super Giants, formerly Manchester Originals, return to Emirates Old Trafford for the 2026 season of The Hundred on Sunday 26 July, with an unmissable first home game against Birmingham Phoenix.

This year's opening fixture promises more than just top-tier cricket: it's a full day out for fans of all ages. From edge-of-your-seat sporting action to live music, DJ sets, an array of street food on offer, and an incredible atmosphere, The Hundred delivers an unforgettable summer experience.

International cricket stars Jos Buttler, Sophie Ecclestone, Heinrich Klaasen, Aiden Markram, Smriti Mandhana, Richa Ghosh, Noor Ahmad and Meg Lanning are all part of the men's and women's teams this year, following the competition's first-ever player auction in March. Meg Lanning captains the women's side and Aiden Markram captains the men.

The women's game starts at 11am, followed by the men's at 2:30pm.

Manchester Super Giants announced last month that every supporter who buys a ticket for a home fixture at Emirates Old Trafford this summer will receive a complimentary Manchester Super Giants shirt.

The giveaway, believed to be a first in UK sport, applies to all general admission and hospitality tickets purchased for any of the Super Giants' home double-headers during The Hundred in 2026, with shirts available to pick up at various collection points at the venue on each match day.
