The 100-ball cricket competition – The Hundred – is heading back to Emirates Old Trafford this summer. Returning for its fifth year, Manchester Originals will face four rival teams, with each match day featuring both men’s and women’s games back-to-back.

The first fixture will see Manchester Originals up against Southern Brave on Wednesday 6 August, with the women’s game getting underway at 3pm and the men’s team taking to the pitch from 6pm.

The Hundred brings together live music, top DJs, street food, and world-class cricket making it the ultimate day out for families who love sport and entertainment. Plus, at Emirates Old Trafford, families can enjoy the action from dedicated family seating, designed to create a welcoming, fun-filled atmosphere for fans of all ages.

Manchester Originals are back for the fifth year with England Superstars Jos Buttler and Phil Salt starring for the men’s team, alongside overseas superstar, Rachin Ravindra. The women’s team are stronger than ever with the world’s best player Amelia Kerr and West Indian all-rounder Deandra Dottin being added to an already exciting squad including England duo Sophie Ecclestone and Mahika Gaur.

Following the first game, Manchester Originals play London Spirit (11 August), Northern Superchargers (17 August), and Birmingham Phoenix (24 August) in what looks set to be an unmissable and action-packed tournament. Each ticket gives fans access to both the men’s and women’s matches on each day, with over 6,000 tickets already sold for the derby match against Northern Superchargers which has sold out in the last three seasons.
