Following the news from the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) which announced plans to host behind-closed-doors matches at our iconic stadium, subject to UK Government clearance, we have enhanced our safety and security protocols across our 17-acre multi-purpose venue in line with UK Government, ECB and West Indies Cricket standards.
The ECB has recognised Emirates Old Trafford as a venue which is capable of delivering such unique events to industry-defining standards, which will better prepare us for when business resumes and we are able to welcome guests and visitors back to Emirates Old Trafford. The series of behind-closed-doors matches will also enable us to rigorously test these protocols to outline any areas that we need to adapt and update.
The safety protocols, which have been put in place in line with UK Government guidelines, will be subject to ongoing review during the period of behind-closed-doors international matches, and will be used to guide the safety of our future event delivery. If you would like to talk to our team about how we are implementing our safety protocols and what this means for future events at Emirates Old Trafford, please fill out our enquiry form.
