Hilton Garden Inn Covid-19 Update

Please see below an update from Lancashire Cricket's CEO, Daniel Gidney, regarding the operations at the Hilton Garden Inn Emirates Old Trafford.

I would like to thank all our hotel visitors for their support during this incredibly difficult time. As a Club, we hope you are safe and well in the face of this unprecedented situation. This fast-developing global crisis affects us all; our friends, family, jobs and financial security.

Given the current Government advice, which we are following every day, and the wellbeing of our visitors and staff, we have taken the decision to temporarily suspend operations at our on-site Hilton Garden Inn hotel, until the Government advise us it is safe to continue operating.

The hotel and full venue staff will be working from home as we comply with the Government’s new measures. The team here at the hotel, Club and venue are what makes us so special and we’re doing all we can to protect our staff and, in turn, our visitors, so that we come back stronger and are ready to make your stay at the hotel a memorable one.

I know we are not alone in going through a tough time at the moment and many hotels, and indeed the hospitality sector as a whole are feeling the strain. In this time of disruption for our industry, keeping communities, staff and visitors safe is our number one priority.

For any hotels guests who are booked in the hotel over the coming weeks, please note that you will, over the coming days, receive correspondence directly from Hilton on your stay with further details. For guests who have not cancelled their reservation prior to arrival, our team will be in touch to discuss next steps.

In the meantime, please continue to follow the Government’s advice and continue to look after yourselves and your loved ones during this period of uncertainty. The health and welfare of our staff, guests, friends and families and the wider community is of utmost priority for us and we are looking forward to welcoming old and new visitors back to the Hilton Garden Inn Emirates Old Trafford when this has passed.
