The Hilton Garden Inn Emirates Old Trafford has launched its new Spring/Summer menu for 2019.
The menu takes inspiration from the seasonality of local ingredients, and has been carefully designed with both business and leisure travellers in mind.
Dishes include mouth-watering black pudding and apple croquettes, butter poached smoked haddock Benedict. For mains, guests can sample the tender braised ox cheek with buttered new potatoes, tenderstem broccoli and red wine sauce, or opt for the more traditional beer-battered haddock and chips.
And, for those with a sweet tooth, indulge in rich toffee apple pudding with butterscotch custard, or a refreshing lemon and lime bavarois, served with passion fruit sorbet.
The new menu follows the appointment of Head Chef, Liam Rutherford, who joined the expanding hotel team in November 2018.
Rutherford has a wealth of experience across high-profile venues, and was previously Head Chef at The Clarence Bury, where he led the team to achieve Best Food Pub in Manchester 2017 in the Manchester Food and Drink Awards.
Rutherford, said: “The new menu has been designed with all guests in mind, and embraces the fresh flavours that the Spring and Summer are known for.
“There are a few dishes that I have created to really encourage guests and diners to try something new, and I think the new menu has a fantastic balance of dishes.”
General Manager, Michael Hewson, said: “We’re excited to launch the new menu, which I think will appeal to everyone.
“The creation of the menu has been Liam’s project since he joined us four months ago, and it’s great to see this introduced. So far, we’ve received great feedback from our guests and we’re looking forward to delighting diners over the coming months.”
The new menu is available in the Garden Grille now, which is open from 5pm – 10pm. To book a table, follow the link here.
