Hilton Garden Inn launches festive menu

The Hilton Garden Inn Emirates Old Trafford has launched a new Christmas menu.

The menu takes inspiration from the seasonality of ingredients during the festive season and is packed full of unique flavour combinations, designed to delight diners of all ages.

Guests can choose from a mouth-watering variety of dishes to get them into the festive spirit, including grilled black pudding with new potatoes, confit salmon with squash and chorizo risotto and goats cheese and fig parcels.

For the main, choose from a tender pan fried sea bass with braised lentils, a hearty pave rump steak or the traditional turkey dinner.

And, for those with a sweet tooth, enjoy one of the famous Belgian waffles with maple syrup and cinnamon sugar or a refreshing lemon and ginger cheesecake. Finish off your meal with a winter warmer hot drink, or sample one of the festive cocktails, including a Blizzard and classic Espresso Martini.

Liam Rutherford, Head Chef, said: “I’m delighted that the new menu is launching. I wanted to combine big flavours with real, seasonal ingredients as I’m passionate about giving our diners a memorable culinary experience.

“I think there’s something for everyone on the menu, whether you’re after the traditional Christmas dinner or want something with a festive twist.”

Rutherford joined the team in 2018, with a view to refresh the menus and transform the food offering at the hotel and in turn, create a destination eatery.

Rutherford continued: “I craft my menus with our guests in mind – if they try a dish they’ve never had before and like it, it’s really rewarding to know that I’ve helped create a positive impression and they may go on to try it again.”

Michael Hewson, General Manager said: “We’re excited to launch the new festive menu, which I think really brings the season to life.

“Since Liam joined the team just over a year ago, our food offering has not only expanded, but we have an exciting variety of dishes that rivals some of the top Manchester eateries. I’m really proud of what he and the team have achieved.”

The festive menu starts from £22.95 per person for two courses and will be served at the Garden Grille restaurant and bar from 22 November.
