The Hilton Garden Inn Emirates Old Trafford is delighted to celebrate ‘Hilton 100’, a campaign which commemorates Hilton’s 100th birthday and celebrates 100 years of hospitality.
The campaign is designed to champion the hotels which represent the Hilton brand, and embraces the Hilton mission, to provide the light and warmth of hospitality around the globe.
Over the last century, Hilton has grown from a single hotel to more than 5,500 hotels and 15 brands in 109 countries, and the Hilton Garden Inn Emirates Old Trafford, which opened in 2017, is going from strength to strength.
The four-star hotel is creating a collaborative Club approach, celebrating the 100th milestone, and the year in sport and events at Lancashire Cricket.
Emirates Old Trafford is hosting a festival of cricket over the summer, including the ICC Cricket World Cup, Specsavers Ashes and the Vitality Blast campaign. Additionally, the venue regularly hosts large conferences and events, and is set to welcome the Stadium Business Summit on 4 – 6 June, one of the largest summits and award dinners with international attendance.
To mark the historic occasion, the Club is undertaking a variety of themed activations. The campaign will see the return of the successful #EOTWellbeing content which was launched in 2018, and will encourage staff to get active through a series of ‘100’ activity challenges.
As part of the initiative, hotels are encouraged to partake in a Random Act of Hospitality, and the staff at the Garden Grille restaurant and bar at the hotel will travel to a local food shelter and treat those in need to a three course dinner, where they will also enjoy table service.
General Manager, Michael Hewson, said: “We’re excited to be commemorating the Hilton 100 birthday, and are proud to be a part of the Hilton family, which has created a fantastic legacy and embraced the definition of hospitality.
“It’s a great opportunity to give back to the local community, by collaborating with the global brand and celebrate not only 100 years of hospitality, but the historic year we have at the Club.”
