October Half-Term: What’s ghosting on in Manchester?

October half-term has arrived, which means so has Halloween!

The air is getting colder, the nights are getting darker and the children are restless, wanting something to do.

Why not spread Halloween over multiple days and really enjoy the festivities?

Here are our top five choices of activities you should do:

Pirates & Mermaids

Join the Mersey Mermaids and the Irwell Pirates for another mutiny on the Princess Katherine!

Mermaid Charlotte brings another kid’s takeover to the Manchester Ship Canal this October.
On an hour long canal cruise from Salford Quays the mermaids and pirates will bring lots of fun, games and treasure!

Matilda the Musical!

Want to do something the whole family will enjoy?

The play is inspired by the incomparable Roald Dahl’s beloved book, Matilda. It’s a five-star show that’s touring the UK!
Take a trip down to the Palace Theatre and see it! It’s not something you can miss out on!

Halloween Ghost Trains

Are you a horror lover? Brave enough to board a Halloween Ghost Train?

It’s a haunted steam train ride to Rawtenstall and back through dark tunnels and past lonely platforms. There’s a gaggle of entertaining ghosts that join you on your journey.

Think you can handle the scare?
