What's on in Manchester in April?

Is that spring we see? April has arrived – meaning that school’s out and the city is aburst with activity again!

But, with all that fun to be hard, how can you and your family make the most of Manchester this month?

¡Viva! Spanish & Latin American Festival 2018

For its 24th edition, ‘¡Viva!’ returns with a HOME-wide celebration of film, theatre and visual art from across Spain and Latin America.

HOME will be hosting a specially selected programme of the most exciting visual art, theatre and film from across the Spanish-speaking world.

My First Ballet: Swan Lake

Enjoy one of the most famous ballets of all time together, in this beautifully adapted new version for children aged three upwards.

With a narrator to help the young audience follow the story, and a shortened version of Tchaikovsky’s wonderful music, this is the perfect introduction to the magic of ballet, and a fantastic family day out.

Easter activities at Elizabeth Gaskell's House

Join the team at Elizabeth Gaskell’s house for family fun at the House this Easter, with Easter egg trails, Easter crafts, visits from our Victorian servants, and more throughout the Easter holidays.

Activities run every Wednesday and Sunday until the 15th April, between 11am – 4:30pm, and cost just £1!

Manchester City Football Club's Easter Stadium and Club tour

Man City fans are in for an ‘egg-stra’ treat this Easter, with the addition of an Easter egg hunt to The Stadium & Club Tour!

On all tours until April 16th, Manchester City Football Club will challenge families to spot all of the Easter Eggs hidden throughout the stadium, as they enjoy the exclusive access of the Etihad Stadium & Club Tour and explore behind-the-scenes areas of the Club.

United in Numbers at Old Trafford

This April, take the family to Old Trafford and find out more about the numbers that make Manchester United.

Until Friday 13th April, the Museum will celebrate the big, the small, the weird and the surprising numbers behind the club.
