Wellbeing takes centre stage at Emirates Old Trafford

Emirates Old Trafford is aiming to raise awareness of the importance of wellbeing at business events, thanks to a new digital campaign for 2018.

‘#EOTWellBeing’ will live across the venue’s website and social media channels, placing a spotlight on how businesses can engage and excite their delegates at conferences and events, through a range of healthy tactics.

The campaign, which will come to life in a series of content creations such as videos, case studies and blogs, aims to inspire event organisers to think outside the box and uplift their guests.

Focusing on one topic each month, the venue will look at the benefits of food, physicality, ascetics, technology and many more.

Head of Sales at Emirates Old Trafford, Angela Hodson, said: “#EOTWellBeing is all about inspiring the events industry to utilise resources around them and create a conference or event that will really bring the best out of their delegates.

“Wellbeing has become increasingly important to our clients in recent years and, at Emirates Old Trafford, we’re fortunate to work with in-house experts and versatile spaces, which can create extremely impactful and productive experiences.

“We hope that, through this digital campaign, we can shed a light on our own wellbeing approaches and inspire others, whether that be businesses, agents, delegates or venues!”

Emirates Old Trafford’s ‘#EOTWellbeing’ campaign will discuss the importance of space, physicality, light, breakout rooms, location, in-house experts, technology and celebrations. To kick-start, the venue is asking; how much difference can food make?

Executive Head Chef, Nic Ashurst, said: “At the turn of the year, we launched a brand new menu for conferences and events at Emirates Old Trafford, so, there’s no better place to start the campaign!

“We took a look at what was working well for our existing clients and what things we could add, which would breathe life and colour into the menus. We’re now proud to offer an increased amount of fresh fish, more diverse breakfasts and creative vegetarian options.

“All these are extremely important in stimulating delegates’ senses and promoting engagement – no matter how early their day might start!”

Clients at Emirates Old Trafford can choose from a range of diverse menus, including: breakfast, bowl food, canapés, finger buffet, fork buffet, late night snacks, light lunches, sharing boards, special healthy choices and street food. Delegates can also enjoy dishes designed for the Lancashire Cricket players, to help boost energy and wellbeing.

Emirates Old Trafford’s catering team can create bespoke menus to meet any conference or event theme, advising on what ingredients to use. There’s also complete flexibility for dietary requirements and allergies are handled with the upmost care.
